About this product
Description
The controlled high frequency response is ideal for taming brighter vocals and guitar tones without sacrificing detail. However, with the M81 the top end is pulled back a bit, yielding a flatter overall frequency response. The M81 builds off of the same features of the M80 that have made it so popular; minimal proximity effect, feedback rejection, and an articulate mid-range. The result is a microphone that not only complements the M80, but also stands on its own in a universe filled with dynamic microphones. The TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik M81 exhibits a wealth of body and clarity, making it a great tool for fattening up percussion, horns, and any thinner sounding sources.
