NSF Certified PEX tubing is made to the following specifications. PEX Size Inside Diameter Outside Diameter Volume Gal/100 ft 3/8”.360.500.50 1/2”.485.625.92 3/4".681.875 1.83 1”.875 1.125 3.03 NSF Certified Pex tubing is connected in 2 different ways. This is done with a barbed fitting and a copper crimp ring. *Rated at 100 psi at 180 degrees. You can also use push-fit fittings. The ring is compressed with the use of a crimp ring tool. This method is the cheapest and best way to a connection and is the least susceptible to leaks down the road. NSF Certified PEX tubing is made to the following specifications. They are great for a quick repair, or a small installation project. Anywhere the temperature could reach 230 F or more. * OD 1.125 ID .865 * Wall Thickness .130 * Weight per foot .16 * ASTM 876/877 * NSF Certified for Potable Water * Not to be installed in Direct Sunlight Made using the silane method (water bath). Do Not use pex tubing for any of the following applications. Keep away from areas that are exposed to a flame or heat source. Crimp fittings are the most effective way of connecting. * OD 1.125 ID.865 * Wall Thickness.130 * Weight per foot.16 * ASTM 876/877 * NSF Certified for Potable Water * Not to be installed in Direct Sunlight Made using the silane method (water bath). *Rated at 80 psi at 200 degrees. They are however more expensive and more susceptible to leaks down the road. Keep out of direct sunlight. Not for use with steam.
